Cask & Canvas: A Whiskey Pairing + Art Exhibit

Join us Thursday, October 22, as Riff Raff Brewing Company hosts Cask & Canvas, an evening of whiskey and food pairings alongside a show of original art — a portion of ticket and bar sales plus every dollar raised from art sales, supports Pagosa Community Initiative’s work.

Guests will explore a self-guided tasting experience featuring hand-selected whiskeys, paired with delectable cuisine perfectly complimenting each tasting, while browsing and collecting original artwork on display throughout the restaurant.

Featured artist: Callista Davies

The art show features original work from painter Callista Davies, whose impressionistic landscapes have been exhibited since she was first honored at the New Mexico Museum of Art in 1960. Davies also spent years teaching high school art in California, work she's called some of the most meaningful of her life — she's said that even students without artistic ability benefited from her classes because they got to express themselves and be creative. That belief in giving young people room to create makes her work a natural fit for a night benefiting Pagosa Community Initiative's support of Archuleta County's kids and families.
